RB2B vs Leadfeeder: people or companies, and how each one counts

RB2B vs Leadfeeder for small B2B teams: person-level versus company-level identification, what each counts as a match, integrations and who should pick which.

Last materially reviewed 2026-10-23

Quick answerRB2B names individual US visitors and also matches companies worldwide, while Leadfeeder matches companies and counts each company once a month. Pick RB2B for named US contacts sent to Slack or a CRM. Pick Leadfeeder for company-level reporting, many domains or traffic outside the US.
RB2B is likely to fit when

✓ Founders and solo marketers with steady US B2B traffic

✓ Small sales teams that can follow up the same day

✓ Teams that want named contacts sent to Slack or a CRM

✓ Sites whose visitors are mostly in the US

Important limitations

— Sites whose visitors are mostly outside the US and who need named contacts

— Teams that need phone numbers from the tool

— Buyers who only want company-level reports

— Anyone who needs a guaranteed identification rate or a legal clearance

RB2B vs Leadfeeder: the core difference

The two tools answer different questions. RB2B tries to tell you which person visited, for US visitors, and which company, for visitors anywhere. Leadfeeder, on its pricing page, is built around the companies visiting your site, and its Activate plan adds verified emails and phones for contacts at those companies.

So the choice usually starts with what your team does next. If a salesperson will message a named visitor on the day of the visit, RB2B's person-level matching is the point. If marketing wants to know which companies and channels drive traffic, a company-level tool covers that.

How each one counts what you pay for

  • RB2B: one credit for each visitor identified in a 30-day window, person or company, up to 12 credits per visitor a year. Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
  • Leadfeeder: price tiers are set by the number of unique companies identified each month. Several visits from one company count once, and Leadfeeder says it filters out internet service providers and low-quality traffic.
  • What follows: RB2B's count includes people you never see as profiles, and Leadfeeder's count never goes by visits. Compare cost per identified contact or company, not the headline number of visitors.

Side by side on the points that decide

  • Free entry: RB2B Free gives 150 monthly resolutions at company level. Leadfeeder Lite is free forever and shows the last 100 companies each month with 7 days of visitor history.
  • Trial: RB2B offers 7 days with no credit card. Leadfeeder offers 14 days with no credit card.
  • Contact details: RB2B returns business emails on Pro and Pro+. Leadfeeder lists verified emails and phones from its Activate plan.
  • Integrations: RB2B sends to Slack and Teams on every plan, and to Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier and more on Pro and Pro+. Leadfeeder lists Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot and Zoho.
  • Users and domains: Leadfeeder states unlimited users and unlimited tracked domains on every plan. RB2B sells extra domains as an add-on on Pro and Pro+.
  • Reach: RB2B's person-level matching is US only. Leadfeeder's pricing page describes identifying companies and names no country limit.

Privacy exposure differs by level

Company-level matching, which both tools offer, names an organization rather than a person. RB2B's help center says a company-level match carries no names or roles unless it is also matched to an individual profile. RB2B's person-level matching does name individuals, which is why the questions in how RB2B works, on consent, disclosure and opt-out, apply to it more than to a company-only tool. Neither vendor's page is a legal opinion, and nor is this one.

Who should pick which

  • Pick RB2B if most of your traffic is in the US, you want named contacts in Slack or a CRM the same day, and you can follow up quickly.
  • Pick Leadfeeder if you sell outside the US, want channel and campaign reports by company, run several websites, or want many teammates in one account.
  • Pick neither yet if you have only a few hundred visitors a month. Use a free plan from either to see whether relevant companies visit.
